“I never write reviews but I couldn’t resist this one. I set out less than two months ago to buy my 2 1/2 year old son a bike (with training wheels). I discovered the Strider online and ordered it thinking that with the money back guarantee, we had nothing to lose. He’s been riding it for the last 6 weeks, not even every day. Three days ago we put him on a two wheel bike, no training wheels! Check out the video taken yesterday on his third day riding a “big boy bike”. Trey will be 2 years, 9 months old tomorrow. And he’s riding a bike with no training wheels! Amazing–thank you!”

“I have twin 3 year old boys and we just bought Striders for them about two weeks ago. It is the best money we have ever spent on them! These bikes have changed the way we spend our evenings and made exercise a part of every single day for all four of us. I have attached three fun videos. It is obviously not Christmas but I think it speak volumes about the excitement kids feel about your bikes that one of my boys made up a song “I got a new bike for Christmas!” just because he felt so much joy over getting it!

Thank you for this wonderful product, I recommend these bikes to everyone I know. I first saw them on The Good Stuff Guide recently…”

“We bought a Strider bike for our 2 year old son in october and 7 months later at 2 years and 10 months old he is now riding a two wheeled bike – no training wheels. He absolutely LOVED his Strider bike and it made it so easy for him to transition to the pedal bike. Thanks for such a great product.” – Alyson Miyose

“Hands down the best investment we have made on an item for our son. He was riding his by the time he was 18 months old. We were so happy that the bike fit him. He is now 3 1/2, the bike still fits him and he still loves to ride it! The transition to a pedal bike was seamless. We love this product and can’t say enough wonderful things about it! Thank you for creating such an incredible product! We can’t wait to pass it on to our youngest” – Amber Tjeerdsma

Here’s a video of Braven Santos, two years and three months old, but started riding his Strider at just 14 months!

We just wanted to say “thank you” for allowing our son to enjoy biking as much as we do. He is 2 yrs and 3 months old and has been riding his Strider since he was 14 months. We uploaded a few youtube videos of him enjoying his bike. We had to build him a jump already. We have several friends who have purchased a Strider for their child after seeing how much Brevan enjoys his. Do you have any plans to make a bike that will grow with them? We are searching for a bike with pedals. I am not sure if if would be possible to make the Strider with an add on of pedals when they get ready. The bike is the perfect size for him and he handles it so well. Again, thanks and if you would like to watch him in action just go to the youtube website and search Brevan, Strider. There are three videos to choose from. One on his jump and two at Santos bike trail in Ocala, Fl. Enjoy!

We messed up their order, but they’re still happy customers, and somebody’s getting a free Strider.

I will try to copy my son’s message below, and just want you to know that we are forwarding it to all our friends so they can hear about your GOOD WORKS!

“My daughter turns 3 next week and the wife and I decided to get her one of these new bikes with no pedals that kids can kinda push around and balance on……the one we got is called a Strider. Anyway, I ordered a pink one on Sunday and it got here yesterday. I went in the garage to open it up last night and take a look and everything was great, except it was red. I figured I screwed up the order, but I took a look at the packing slip and it said “pink” in there.

So, I called the Strider bike dude this morning (they are out of Rapid City, SD) to tell him the story. He was a super nice guy and told me they would send out my new pink bike today and that in that box would be a return postage slip I could put on the box with the red bike and just send back whenever I got a chance.

About 30 minutes after that conversation, I get an OC from my wife. The guy had called our home and asked my wife “If it isn’t too much trouble for you guys, we would prefer you just keep the red bike and please give it to a needy family in Boise”. My wife nearly fell over and so did I when she told me.

Anyway, just wanted to share that story as I thought it was cool as hell. If any of you are looking for little kid’s balance bike thingy’s, here is their website.

http://www.stridersports.com/”

You have made my day . . .wishing you all the best!

Glad the twins enjoy their Striders, very interesting comparison to the wooden balance bikes.

Let me just say the kids LOVE these bikes! We ordered our 2 year old twin boys a wooden run bike last year and they fit so poorly they could never use them, even after a year they were just too large and awkward. After awhile they were in fact scared to try. I was about to give up and thought they just didn’t like run bikes. But I saw a friend’s child whizzing around on one again and just had to try again. This time I did my research – I knew I needed a bike that was very adjustable, metal, affordable and light. Oh and FUN! Strider bikes fit that bill perfectly, I also loved that I could buy any extra parts cheap and that the bike would grow with them – not just in the seat but also the handle bars. Within 3 days of having a Strider bike they were building ramps with their Dad and zooming all over the place! I love how adjustable they are – great for my very short twins. We live on a dirt road on the edge of a mountain bike trail system. These bikes are the perfect thing for where we live. Pedaling a tricycle on grass and gravel just isn’t that exciting. The boys even take their bikes out on the trails with their Dad. It is just amazing! We are big fans. Customer service is wonderful too.

Thanks a bunch, Zoe Johnson

A few weeks ago we posted a story about five-year-old Garrett, a boy with autism who had some trouble with training wheels. After three weeks with a Strider, he’s already off to pedaling, and thinking about giving his Strider to his little sister!

Hi! I sent you a video of my 5-year-old son, Garrett a few weeks ago when we first got his Strider bike. To help you remember, he has a form of autism and we were really surprised by how well he did on his first try. You asked if you could share the video and our story.

Anyway, here’s an update. This is his first attempt at a pedal bike. We bought one at a garage sale for $5 to just have around in case one day he was feeling confident. We mention it when he’s out riding his bike, but he’s never wanted to try and we’ve never pushed it. Today was the day he decided to try. His first attempt on his Strider bike was just 3 weeks ago.

As you can see, he did REALLY well (even without shoes… weirdo. . He rides his Strider bike without shoes, too, most of the time.) We’re amazed, shocked, proud, excited and 100% grateful for your awesome bike! He’s almost ready to give it to his sister.

Thanks again!
