I tried and tried to find a moderately amusing video of an Easter Bunny on a bicycle…it’s more difficult than you would think. So instead of a bunny on a bike here is an awesome video of Danny McAskill taking Bunny Hopping to an entirely new level!
Hope everyone is having a Happy Easter, Safe Travels and Fun Family Times! Stride On…

Terry Peak Ski Resort in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota was the site of the inaugural Strider Snow Cup. It was also the unveiling of the brand new STRIDER Ski Attachment! We were blessed with blue skies and 70+ degrees…perfect for us, but not so much for the snow slush
Even with less than ideal snow conditions the skis worked wonderfully for both the kids and adults (videos of both to come shortly). One Strider Rider was up from Colorado. She missed the races by about 30 minutes, but she already had the chance to use her STRIDER Ski Attachments when it snowed in Denver earlier this week.
Here are the results…Please share your photos, video or stories with us over at www.StriderLife.com

It was a totally Rad race day at the SoCal Nationals, Dude! (Sorry, Thought it might be nice to start off speaking the local language).
What a great day for STRIDER World Cup racing in the warm Southern California Sun. Twenty-three STRIDER racers came out to ride with the big kids.
There was a special treat for those that stuck around for the races Saturday. The 2012 Olympic Hopefuls raced on the SuperCross (SX) track right next to the Chula Vista BMX track. One can only imagine where these STRIDER Riders may be in 18 years…

We were very excited when we came across this review of the 2012 STRIDER ST-3 in the March issue of “bike magazine“! There are so many kids of mountain bikers riding STRIDER Bikes that it really is a perfect fit. The review was also written from a fresh perspective…read the review below and see if you agree.

In 2010 a couple bicyclists in Minneapolis, MN challenged each other to ride their bike every day for the month of April. Whether it was on a family ride around the block, on a long commute to work or just some mountain biking for fun.
The first year there were around 600 locals and bike-savvy techies that picked up on #30daysofbiking and the a bunch of fun content that was being posted on Twitter. By year two there were over 2000 registered riders and this year there is already 2,500!

This is where you come in! Go…Register…leave a comment about how STRIDER has gotten you back on your bike having fun with the kids.
Sometimes I rebel against “Signing On” to something because it makes me feel guilty if I miss a day or fall behind. My advice is to try your hardest to ride a bike every day…don’t get upset if you miss a day, just jump back on the saddle tomorrow. “What if I already ride every day?” you may ask. Ride More!
30 Days of biking is a great way to start your Summer off right and hopefully get in the healthy habit of pedaling and Stridering more often!

We love to watch all of the YouTube videos and look at all the photos that parents send us. With the addition of StriderLife last year the conversations and media being shared is even more prolific than before.
There was a recent video uploaded to YouTube that really caught our attention. Not only did the parents catch on to our new catch phrase, “Stride On”, but it also showed the many situations that a STRIDER excels in! Shep rides his STRIDER on BMX tracks, Logs, Concrete, Single track and more.
As he rides the length of an obstacle and a log at the end of the video his Dad says, “You Did It!” to which Shep replies, “YAY!”
We feel the same way Shep…Stride On!

Greg Hill ran several STRIDER clinics at the 2011 Strider World Championships in Sarasota, Florida.
Strider World Cup Racers - Mar 26, 2012 -
Greg Hill, five-time BMX World Champion, has given his official endorsement for Strider Bikes, calling them “the most effective way for aspiring bike riders to develop basic riding skills”.
Greg Hill is an old-school professional bicycle motocross (BMX) racer whose prime competitive years were 1977 to 1989. He retired from the competitive top-level pro circuit after the 1998 season. Hill took his racing mentality to a number of business ventures, including motivational and how-to instructional books and videos. Additionally, he started a BMX bicycle company, Greg Hill Products (GHP), during the 1980s. The company is currently thriving as Greg teaches clinics around the world instructing children how to race.
The BMX legend continues about Strider No-Pedal PRE-Bikes, their ease of use, and impact on the sport of BMX Racing, “When it comes to products for developing basic bike riding skills, there is nothing quite like the Strider balance bike. These bikes are so light and easy for kids to ride — they’re just awesome! I witnessed the positive results firsthand when we picked up a few Striders for our grandkids. We put them together easily and let them hop on. At first they were just riding around our driveway, then the magic happened! I looked out the window at the miniature BMX track in my backyard the next morning and couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The kids were actually making full laps on their Striders that they could not do on their other bikes.”
According to Greg, his grandchildren used to watch him ride and would simply push their bigger bikes around the track, as they were unable to ride the larger, heavier bikes on the challenging terrain. With the Strider bikes, both kids were riding laps. “They were so happy! I knew these Strider balance bikes were good, but witnessing my own grandkids riding them…wow! That really was the best form of advertisement anyone could ever see.”

Greg is currently travelling around the country to USA BMX National races to help with the Strider World Cup races being run on Saturday morning of each event. The young riders are thrilled to get to race on a portion of the same track where their heroes will race minutes later.
“This is one of the most exciting products to happen to BMX. It’s rejuvenating the sport and ensuring that the sport continues long into the future. I am just amazed at the world of opportunity for these Strider Bikes. If they can have this kind of an impact on BMX, imagine what it can do for youngsters all over the world!”
You can meet Greg and bring your young prospective riders to the Strider World Cup race at the USA BMX SoCal Nationals and USAC BMX Racing National Championships at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California on Friday, March 30th at Noon.
