The European Strider Team was in Cologne, Germany recently and put their own twist on a growing tradition – attaching a “Love Lock” to the Hohenzollern Bridge which crosses the Rhine near the Cologne Cathedral or Kölner Dom as it is known locally.

Has anyone seen my hands?
Even though it was a cold winter day in Germany, JoJo took the opportunity to go for a spin on the bridge and deliver the Strider Lock to the right location. The lock was attached amongst thousands of others, and in cerimonous fashion, the Euro Strider Team threw the key into the Rhine as a symbol of Strider’s commitment to the toddlers of Europe.

Can you find Strider's lock?
If you’re in Cologne and think of it, go for a walk on the Hohenzollen Bridge and look for the Strider Lock in the sea of Love Locks. Maybe add a lock of your own, and make sure you bring your Strider – there are tons of great spots to ride around the city and along the Rhine.

Join the conversation on our Facebook page or send stories, video and/or photos to ssblog@stridersports.com!

Last week we put a call out on our Facebook page to get photos and videos posted on our wall. Â The international Strider M.O.B. heard us loud and clear! Â We want to highlight a few of that crowd today.

The first is Emily from the United Kingdom. She got her Strider last Summer and started gettingher sense of balance, but mostly walked with her bum (I think that's what they call it in the U.K.) off the seat. This summer she will be outfitted with her new helmet and there'll be no stopping her!

Our next international Strider rider is the ever-cool, Johnny Rock. He hails from Sydney, Australia, sports an awesome Nutcase helmet, and some really cool low-top Chuck Taylors!
Keep the photos and videos coming! Â We love seeing local, nation, and international Strider riders.

Feliz Natal e um feliz ano novo do Rio de Janeiro!  ~JoJo
Apparently in Brazil they celebrate Christmas on December 24th, something to do with the Southern Hemisphere I’m sure. Â JoJo was able to get some face time with the big guy ,Papai Noel, as they call him in Rio then take in some tropical ride time around the city.
Merry Christmas from Team Strider and JoJo!

Pat yourself on the back if you guessed, Milan! Strider riding, travelling the world and being awesome makes JoJo one of the busiest 3 year old we’ve ever known! Â Last time we peaked into the jet-setters world he was in Rio riding his Strider and turning heads. Â He’s still turning heads, but now he’s getting attention from the Italians and their pigeons.

JoJo also had a chance to get together with Adrian from “Team Strider: Slovakia”

John and Nanda (Strider’s international jetsetters) were back in Europe earlier this month. Â Strider made a big splash at the “68th International Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition” in Milan!

One of the favorite photos from EICMA 2010 was the look on this boy’s face. Â JoJo swapped a Strider for his less maneuverable 4 wheeled scooter…he instantly got an “I get it” look!

Watch for more of JoJo tomorrow and have a safe and fun holiday season!

Nanda and John are an integral part of the “International” in Strider Sports International! Their son JoJo has become an instant rock star as they trot the globe and spread Strider fun to toddlers the world over.

John, JoJo and Nanda...Putting the International in Strider Sports International!
In the weeks and months to come we will be following JoJo and his meteoric rise in international Strider riding fame!
This week finds him enjoying some sun in the Southern Hemisphere. Â Watch the Youtube video below of JoJo in Rio de Janeiro…half the fun is watching the reactions of people who have never seen a Strider before.

KTM Strider PREbikes have just hit the U.S. shoreline and are enroute to our distribution center! The bikes will be up on our webstore and ready for purchase at high noon on Wednesday, November 3rd. Mark your calendar… these bikes are sure to go fast (pun intended!).

MURRIETA, CA (October 20, 2010) — KTM North America, Inc. and Strider Sports International are excited to announce a licensing agreement for the introduction of the KTM Strider PREbike™. The KTM Strider PREbike™ is a revolutionary pedal-free bike that enables toddlers as young as 18 months to learn how to ride and balance on two wheels… years earlier than if they used the conventional tricycle or training wheel method. Most important, Strider™ teaches the skills needed to safely and easily transition to riding both a pedal bike and a Sportminicycle, making the first experience on each much more successful and positive.

Inventor’s youngest son getting started at less than 2 years old.

Inventor and both sons enjoying their favorite pastime on their KTM's!

Yes…you read correctly! Â It is still October, but we wanted to remind you that Christmas is coming up. Â Can you think of a better gift to give the Toddlers in your life then a Strider?! Â We can’t, and that’s why we just received a new shipment in anticipation of the Holiday season.

Question of the day: How many Striders fit in a 40 foot long semi-trailer? Â I could tell you, but that wouldn’t be nearly as fun. Â Go to our facebook page and post your guess (one guess per fan). Â The closest guess – by Thursday (10/28) at noon (mountain standard time) – without going over will get an official “Team Strider t-shirt for their toddler and a Team Strider water bottle!”

Good luck and happy (early is better than late) holidays!
