Reminiscing and Dreaming of Warm Weather

Thursday, April 14th, 2011

When we woke up this morning and peeked out the window what do you think we saw?  It is snowing again in Striderville!  Yeah, we know…It is only the middle of April and it snows every year at this time, but it is hard to go from 70 degrees to snow in the same week!

Thinking about warmer weather got us thinking about a stop we made in Denver at the Motocross of Nations on the way back from Interbike last year.  Todd and Kent were representing Sales, Charlie was on hand for some R&D and Ryan (Strider Founder and Chief Enthusiast) wanted to stop because he is a hardcore motocross/racing fan.

Lets get some RedBull in these fellows...they look tired.

Thanks for indulging our walk down memory lane.

MURRIETA, CA (October 20, 2010) — KTM North America, Inc. and Strider Sports International are excited to announce a licensing agreement for the introduction of the KTM Strider PREbike™.  The KTM Strider PREbike™ is a revolutionary pedal-free bike that enables toddlers as young as 18 months to learn how to ride and balance on two wheels… years earlier than if they used the conventional tricycle or training wheel method.  Most important, Strider™ teaches the skills needed to safely and easily transition to riding both a pedal bike and a Sportminicycle, making the first experience on each much more successful and positive.

Strider PREbike at Interbike! (Part 1)

Monday, October 18th, 2010

Strider Staff once again displayed the Strider PREbike at the annual Interbike dealer trade expo in Las Vegas!

Enthusiasm was palpable at the Interbike Trade Expo in Las Vegas
We set up many new dealers and educated them about the unique benefits of the Strider design… ultra-lightweight, super-low seat height and center of gravity, frame-integrated footrests, and color choices.

It wasn’t all work though. Here’s a great photo of Kent, Sales Man extraordinaire, hanging out with his favorite intergalactic good guy Bumblebee on the Las Vegas strip.

Cycle America TV interviews Strider at Interbike Expo

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

The Strider Sports crew attended the 2009 Interbike Expo in Las Vegas, NV a few months back and Ryan McFarland was interviewed by the folks at Cycle America. We just got a copy of the video and have posted it here. This interview pretty much tells the whole story of Strider from the original invention to the current product and how the features each benefit a child. If you have a few minutes, there’s a good bit of information here.
