Kids Talk Strider PREBikes…And Whatever Else is on Their Minds
Sunday, September 26th, 2010Strider Race at NBL (National Bicycle League) Grand Nationals
Tuesday, September 21st, 2010On Labor Day Weekend, a year’s worth of BMX racing across the country came to a spectacular conclusion at the 33rd Annual NBL Grand Nationals. Riders of all ages and skill levels converged on Louisville, KY for 4 days of BMX racing with National Champions crowned from the Rookie classes all the way up to the Elite Pro riders. As the Official PREbike of the NBL (National Bicycle League) Strider was represented in full force.
All weekend long the future “stars” of tomorrow got their chance to stretch their legs and ride on two wheels like the pros by taking advantage of the demo rides offered by the enthusiastic NBL staff. All the fun and excitement came together on the last day with a Strider PREbike race on the actual professional BMX Grand National track in front of all the cheering fans. Jess Moore, Director of Marketing for the NBL summed it up: “There wasn’t really what I would call a “winner”. Some of the kids’ parents never let go of them, some never finished and others just kept going. It was a blast for the families involved and the fans loved it! What a great way to wrap up our first year of partnering with Strider.
As Strider continues its strong support of the NBL for the 2011 season, we encourage all Strider riders and their parent “pit crews” to look for NBL racing in your area. Click here to learn more about Strider / NBL developmental partnership.

If you love your Strider PREBike™, let readers of The Wall Street Journal hear from you!
Wednesday, September 1st, 2010A feature in today’s print and online editions of The Wall Street Journal about the growing popularity of balance bikes in the United States fails to mention Strider PREBikes™ as a leader and innovator in the market.
We want you to alert the Journal’s readers to the oversight, so that readers can fairly judge Strider’s PREBikes™ compared with the other brands the paper did highlight.
Of course, we think our PREBikes™ are better-designed, more durable, better-priced and more popular than any of the running bikes that the Journal did mention. And we hope you’ll take a moment right now to post comments on the Journal’s web site sharing your enthusiasm for our PREBikes™ and retelling the success that your children have had using them.
Here are two different locations on WSJ.com where you can leave your comments (at the bottom of the articles) for PREBikes™:

Please use your posts to inform Journal readers why you and your children love Strider PREBikes™ and why you encourage them to measure our bikes against all the competition. It would be a shame if Journal readers are guided to inferior models because the reporter on the story left Strider out.
The sooner you post the better! Thanks so much for helping us spread the word about Strider!
