Strider PREbike Reviews
Thursday, December 31st, 2009STRIDER(TM) PREbikes make the February issue of Dirt Rider magazine!
Wednesday, December 30th, 2009This was a fun surprise for us… first phone call of the day was a dad wanting to order a Strider for his little boy and saying that he saw it in Dirt Rider magazine. We had no idea that the Strider would be in the Gear Bag section of the magazine. Later that day our subscription issue showed up at the shop, so we raced through it to find this…

Thanks Dirt Rider… you said it perfectly… if it’s got training wheels its not a two-wheeler!
Merry Christmas from Strider Sports!
Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009What a wonderful year it has been! We feel extremely blessed to have a growing business in the midst of so much economic turmoil. We are thankful to all of our distributors, dealers, and customers across the country and around the world. We are thankful for all the smiles and squeals of delight from all the little Strider riders that continue to ‘make our day’. And, we are thankful for the freedom, love and peace offered to us through Jesus, the reason for the Christmas season.
God bless you!
Cycle America TV interviews Strider at Interbike Expo
Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009The Strider Sports crew attended the 2009 Interbike Expo in Las Vegas, NV a few months back and Ryan McFarland was interviewed by the folks at Cycle America. We just got a copy of the video and have posted it here. This interview pretty much tells the whole story of Strider from the original invention to the current product and how the features each benefit a child. If you have a few minutes, there’s a good bit of information here.
STRIDER PREbikes take to the motocross track!
Thursday, December 17th, 2009Strider Sports was a sponsor for the Black Hills Arena Racing event last Saturday night in Rapid City, SD. Strider riders got to be the pre-race entertainment… and had a ball doing it. Here’s a fun little video of kids playing on the whoops, jumps, and rhythm sections of the indoor motocross track. The next indoor race is January 9th.
Strider PREbike Teams Up With John Wayne Cancer Foundation To Bring Kids Holiday Cheer
Friday, December 11th, 2009
Strider PREBike™ recently teamed up with the Team DUKE from the John Wayne Cancer Foundation to spread a little holiday cheer to children in need. Strider™ donated two PREbikes™ to Team DUKE and we know one of those bikes found their way to the Children’s Healing Art Project in Portland. The bikes will be used in the therapy room by cancer patients and other kids who are in the hospital.
Strider wishes everyone a happy holidays and asks that you send good vibes to children around the world.
Upcoming Strider Event!
Saturday, December 5th, 2009We have a fun event coming up on December 12, 2009 at the Central States Fairgrounds indoor event center in Rapid City, SD. This the third night of racing for the Black Hills Arena Racing motocross series and Strider running bikes is a sponsor of the event. As such, we are going to have a Strider Free Ride event prior to the racing action.
The track will be all prepped and formed into berms, jumps, whoops and all sorts of fun stuff for little kids to play on! It is basically a giant sandbox/playground. Doors open at 5:45pm on Saturday night. Strider riders meet toward the west end of the arena and take to the track at 6:15pm. We’ll play on the track until the racing is set to get underway (usually about 6:45pm). At that time, you can go grab a snack from the concession stand and get to your seat for some FUN action. If you haven’t been to these races, they are really something to see… the big air and speed of the pros is awesome and the pee-wee racers are fun to watch as well. You’ll even be able to cheer for Bode McFarland (#85) in the Pee-Wee 4-6 class… Bode is my first son and was the inspiration for the Strider running bike way back when. If you can’t make it to the event, check back here in a few weeks and we’ll try to have a video posted!
