Strider The “Official Balance Bike" Of The NBL

The National Bicycle League, Inc. (NBL) is excited to announce a new partnership with Strider Sports International, makers of the Strider™ No-Pedal Balance Bike. The Strider™ is a revolutionary pedal-free bike that enables toddlers to learn how to ride and balance a bike more quickly and safely than a typical tricycle or bike with training wheels. The partnership between the NBL and Strider™ is designed to expose the maximum number of toddlers to the thrill of bicycle riding while simultaneously giving the local NBL tracks a way to raise money as they develop the racers of tomorrow.
The NBL supports and promotes the sport of bicycle motocross racing (BMX) and organizes, regulates and sanctions BMX racing competition events throughout the United States. The organization also understands that bicycling is a fun way for kids to get the exercise they desperately need, and endorses the Strider™ as the safest and smartest way for your child to get started in bicycling.
NBL CEO Gary Aragon welcomes Strider to the NBL family by saying, “We are always looking for ways to bring in new riders to the exciting sport of BMX Racing. Partnering with Strider allows us to reach more young riders than ever before. Now we have a platform for introducing the youngest members of the NBL family to a lifestyle that includes exercise and the character-building challenges of competitive racing.”
Strider Sports International Founder Ryan McFarland adds, “The Strider™ was borne out of my desire to teach my son how to ride on two wheels at the youngest age possible. Cycling has been a passion of mine since my childhood, and I wanted to share the thrill and adventure of the sport with my children. Teaming up with the NBL allows us to share our passion with families around the country.”
The scope of the partnership between the NBL and Strider includes exposing toddlers to the Balance Bike concept, offering opportunities to compete and providing a way for the national organization and local tracks to raise funds for the development of the sport. Most NBL tracks now have demo Striders available and run Strider races as part of their regular race events. Some tracks offer Striders for purchase, others have coupon codes available for customers who wish to purchase Striders. The coupon offers free shipping to the customer and attributes the sale to the local NBL track. If your track doesn’t have a demo bike or a coupon code program in place, have them contact us for set-up. To purchase now, you can use the following coupon code: STRIDER4NBL-WEB. Simply click on Shop For Bikes, place your items in the cart, and enter the coupon code during step 1 of the check out process for free shipping. Plus, we’ll donate 15% of your order total back to the NBL to support their efforts to get kids on two wheels!
